Bath Hill Court (white building)
Went to Southbourne (flat whites at Velo Domestique) and Boscombe. Cold wind and damp. On bus back took a quick pic of this imposing block. Many flats are huge, with large rooms and high ceilings to attract (when built) wealthy London 2nd homers and accommodate their servants.

"Built on the sites of Hill House and Belmont (10 and 8 Parsonage Road respectively) 1935-1936 in neo-Georgian mansion style with grand entrance halls, high ceilings and spacious rooms. It was requisitioned during WW2 as part of No. 3 Personnel Reception Centre of the RCAF. The mansard roof began to leak in the 1990s and it was refurbished in 2012 with a warm roof system and anti-skid walkways".
(Sorry not the best of images. Difficult with the lights in the bus, the gloom outside - and yes the sky - was - a blue mauve).
