HAPPY 74TH BIRTHDAY TO MY OWN GRUMPY OLD GIT

Another good day today.  Put up some birthday decorations last night, on top of the Christmas ones.  Then just before Breakfast His Lordship opened up his cards and presents.    

Amazingly I got a bit of a smile from him for this photo, he rarely smiles when his photo is being taken, he's not a natural poser and puts up with me taking the occasional photo of him. I quite like this one.

We are now sitting waiting as he is being taken by Me and G to the Haverthwaite Station Cafe for a birthday lunch.  Whether we will go for the Christmassy one or not remains to be seen.  It was difficult to get in as they get so booked up early and it's best to go on a week day because they have the Santa Specials at the week-ends and it's then heaving.
