Festivities!

Each Thursday the village church hosts a cafe in the church hall. Today, it being near to Christmas, it was rather special with Christmas cake, mince pies and other seasonal goodies and festive songs from the boys and girls of the school nursery. 
On display was this fine knitted nativity made by one of the church members. The wooden cross, made from local driftwood was recently presented to the church by an old friend of ours from student days who used to live in the village .
