Memories

A day in the office which included a festive lunch in a local restaurant with a couple of colleagues. It was okay but no more.

We returned and spent an hour clearing out an office of 15 years worth of ‘stuff’. There were lots of memories in the items we sorted through - of my old colleagues and things we’d worked on together - but it is the end of a chapter and time to move on.

As usual, I had an evening walk after work to help me switch off and appreciate the moment.

Grateful today:
- For a safe journey to and from work on busy roads.
- For the cheerful and supportive guidance on a follow up call to the mindfulness course I attended at the weekend.
- For a colleague introducing me to the concept of Frumpets - crumpets cooked like French toast.
