Smithski-Cabs was in action tonight.
J9 was in Manchester for a Christmas meet up with her friends from university, so I picked her up from the train.
It’s a sign of age that their meet up involved nothing stronger than tea & cake.
Anyway, it still gives me a tingle that this station was the stretch of track where Stephensons Rocket won the trials & led to the birth of the railways.
Apart from that it was work.
