Walked to the village store in the pouring rain this afternoon. I hate this damp weather.

Several work calls and some meeting dates added to the diary for next week and early January. Frustrating call to the insurance company early evening that achieved nothing. Level of incompetence begs belief.

Delivered a Christmas stocking to the handyman with gifts for his daughter.
