Storm #2

We left Bremen this morning with the sky looking very threatening. As we drovr along there was an amazing thunderstorm off to the side. We stopped at a services and I took about 500 shots on motor drive hoping to get a lightning flash. Needless to say, I didn't. I am sure if I had tried long enough I would have got one but we needed to get moving again.

This shot shows the contrast between the corn field and the dark sky.

Despite this, we only had a few spots of rain on the journey. We decided to stop 2 hours short of Calais at a nice simple campsite between Antwerp and Ghent.

After 2 weeks meeting almost no British people, there are several on this campsite.

Off to Calais tomorrow to catch the Eurotunnel
