The Long Hole

I always think that this little harbour/inlet in Bangor, County Down has a very unimaginative name. It used to take small boats but I haven’t ever seen any watercraft in here. And I’m ancient!

Royal Ulster Yacht Club is just along from here, it overlooks the far end of the inlet. I was wandering about this morning while awaiting a dental appointment. I have reached the happy stage in life when one of my past pupils is now my dentist! And she’s lovely.
