The village Christmas tree

The Christmas tree has been put up in the square and the children arrived from the school this morning with their teachers, the Maire and his deputies to adorn it with the decorations they had made. It is a nice village tradition. I hope the tree does not suffer the fate of the one installed two years ago, when some local vandals chopped it down and dragged it across the main road! In the afternoon, there were only two of us at the tennis training session, but it was worth making the most of my last opportunity for a few weeks.
