Waiting For The Prof

Another eye appointment for mrsfb. It was much busier than usual, but we got to see the main man this time. He was actually rushing into the hospital just as we arrived. Good job I was paying attention or I might have run him over, which wouldn't have been good at all.

Not much to report. Mrsfb is going to try some different drops which might not have the side effects which she is finding to be a nuisance now. We realised on our way out that we tried these before. That time we had to pay £100 for a private prescription, this time they are free on the NHS. Back in a month or so to see if they are working OK.

Not sure who all the presents are for at the base of the tree in the waiting area.

We had a Skype this afternoon with daughter#2 from her Covid sick bed. She didn't seem too bad. Although off sick she had to run a Zoom meeting this morning!

This evening we have been invited for drinks and canapés at a neighbour's house at the end of our drive. Christmas must be coming!
