Under the covers

Sorting through more inherited old books today. Hiding under the covers of The History and Antiquities of the Parish of Darlington in the Bishoprick by W.H. Longstaffe, published in 1854, I discovered these fantastic marbled endpapers, the colours are probably just as vibrant as the day they were made.

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's 'Half Moon' blip. They were divided between build and sell, with rather more suggesting the latter. I've decided to do nothing for now. When I've got more time I'll study the instructions and decide then whether I think I would be able to complete it.
