Tale

Crazy Dog with goose-neck tail.
Tongue-loll. Froth-mouth.
He'll spoil
someone's day, given half

a chance. That's if the Witch
next door casts a spell
and grants him life. Which
would give us all a tale to tell.

I'd tell it, over a pint or two,
to any soul willing to listen;
to men, to women, to children.
And tell it so they believe it's true.
