Not another seascape?
On our way home from Rothbury we managed a detour to fit in a last bit of the Northumberland coastline that Andy hadn't seen before. Whitley Bay and St Mary's lighthouse, complete with 100+ grey seals lazing on the rocks beside the lighthouse in the sunshine. (The information boards do point out that vital biological functions such as conserving energy, digesting food and moulting all take place on land: seals are not lazy, they are surviving.)
