Another Turnstone of Herne Bay

We had a day out to the seaside today. 

First we went to Whitstable Castle (also known as Tankerton Towers). This is actually a house that looks like a castle and is set in beautiful gardens. From here we walked down to the beach where a very over-excited Jak had a little run-around.

After this, we drove on to Herne Bay for our lunch overlooking the sea. Another run on the beach for Jak.  He seems quite tired now that we are home!

While Mr K took some lovely shots of the castle and the coastal scenes, I took my usual array of plants and birds.  As ever, the turnstones especially caught my eye.
