The town drummer

This is the Elgin town drummer who wakened the people before alarm clocks were around. He went through the town banging his drum with his dog and his boy. His statue is in the Main Street .
We visited Forres and Elgin today and had a look round to see areas where we would like to live. We did not find a property we liked and some that we had thought looked good on the internet were a disappointment. Forres seems a much nicer town. We will keep looking.
