First Frost

I think I said the other day we hardly ever get frost because we are protected by trees. This morning I had to leave home for an early dental appointment and it was 28F (-2C).

There was frost on my windshield! One swipe of the wipers created this effect. So I had a photo for today.

It warmed up nicely though so I attacked the raking in the front yard. I wanted to add leaves to our brush piles for the birds and bunnies. I have seen several different birds flying in and out of the shelters. Hoping to get some photos soon. For some reason my normal families of birds are not here.
