My crutch

Arriving back from France at Stansted I was introduced to the world of wheelchair travel. A line of us in chairs awaited our pushers. They happily trundled us all through the passport control fast track. Then my carer took me onward to my car.

It all took a while but it was a fantastic service. Home now and examining the purple bruise around my heel. It’s going to take a few weeks but no lasting damage.

Back home I went to a drinks do this evening with my pals from the arts society. A delightful get together.
