The Greig Street sine wave bridge
Wobbly pedestrian bridges have been built for centuries. It is just that in 1880 nobody complained if it wobbled a bit, even if it got quite serious when you walk instep with your pals. The main thing is that it doesn’t fall down. This one has performed flawlessly since then with some minor maintenance to replace suspension cables and toughen up the anchors.
