Sticky bun

Sticky yes...never ever plant a bald cypress. In addition to the horrible exposed buttress roots it drops the stickiest cones that explode when they hit the ground. Our poor dog suffers from the sticky pointed cone pieces wedging in the pads of her feet and in between her toes. They stick so hard it is almost impossible to get them out. We have to cut them out most of the time. They also ruin most surfaces like the siding the lawn furniture, the sidewalks and decks even the grill. The house floors have damage as well. Not the tree for your yard, not the tree for kids and pets.
