Spotted amongst the leaves round the pond.
Unfortunately a bit battered.

Well after that gorgeous sunset we have a beautiful day, so the old saying is right.
Much more reliable than the weather forecast which didn’t mention wall to wall sunshine.

As we have a quite day we decided to make the most of the good weather and have a walk to the pond before calling for the Yorkshire Post.
It certainly felt mild. The sun is now so low it was difficult to see when it was in front of us.
Nice to see the pond so high.
I counted 22 mallards and 3 moorhens.
The new seats were very wet so we didn’t sit down. However the paths weren’t as muddy as we thought they would be. A couple of days without rain makes a big difference.

I expect a lot of Blippers will be watching the Strictly Final tonight.
Will be interesting to know who the winner will be.
We are looking forward to watching the film we recorded the other day.
