Peter Rabbit and friend!

We spent much of the morning delivering Christmas cards around Cockermouth...3 miles...quite hilly, too!

We went to the cafe at Lingholm at lunchtime...Sweet potato and parsnip soup...delicious!

Beatrix Potter often stayed at Lingholm ( before it was a cafe )...she wrote her Peter Rabbit books there!

Well worth a visit...not far from Keswick.
