Another sunflower (Day 3141)

My plan for a bit of a lie in this morning were dashed at 7.50am by a prospective customer calling to ask me to attend to a leaking toilet. I've had a fairly heavy week and I declined to attend today. The customer explained that this wasn't their only toilet, and perhaps I could get to him tomorrow. Or Monday. I declined again, and he explained that he would really like it looked at today, so could I not just come out to him anyway. It wasn't the best start to my day, and not the best way for a customer to engage the services of a plumber. Once I have said no, I am very unlikely to change my mind.
I got out a wander up the hill with Sigyn. It was unseasonably warm, and very windy.
Back home, after breakfast, I set about cleaning out our boiler - a job put off for far too long and good to get ticked off the list. It was almost lunchtime by the time I was finished, and my beautiful wife provided sustenance in the form of a garagntuan sandwich.
As I ate, the weather closed in, and the sunshine was replaced by thick drizzle. The afternoon wander with Sigyn was a very wet affair requiring full waterproofs.
A visit to the horses later was also extremely wet, but at least the wind had dropped off a bit.
