New Puppy! Yippieee!!!

We visited the kennels of a Chihuahua breeder today and decided on our new puppy! Please pardon the red tone to the picture, it is because of the Infrared light in their 'Nursery'.

She was born last Monday, 15 June 2009 and weighed about 140gr. We will get her on 10 August 2009 after she was registered at the Kennel Union of Southern Africa, inoculated and weaned.

She was born by Caesarean Section. It was her mother's first litter, she had four but only two survived and now she has abandoned them! What a pity! Fortunately there was another Mommy with two babies, born 3 weeks ago and she accepted them unconditionally!

Here she is photographed with her substitute Mommy, her brother and the two bigger pups. She is the one right in the centre, drinking viciously!! Hehehe! The little bum and legs sticking out in the front of the picture, is her little brother, just as cute, but we want a little girl!

Just note the bigger, white one, lying on her mom's hip and the other 'stepbrother' lying on our little girl! Só cute.

Our little one is much smaller since birth, the mom and dad are smaller than that of the other two as well, so we hope she will be quite a small doggie one day!

I published three photos here as well, the black one is the real mommy, with the plaster on the leg where the drip was administered for the Caesarean, the brown one below her is the daddy and I liked the bigger white one sleeping on her moms hip só much, I just had to show you! She belongs to someone already.
