River Derwent

After heroically competing in the Keswick obstacle challenge competition (specialising in advanced skipping with extending dog leads) I escaped and treated myself to a walk in the drizzle from Great Wood to Ashness and back. As I walked under Falcon Crag I passed a couple and the chap was scanning the crag with his binoculars. I asked if he’d seen a peregrine and he pointed to a tree on the crag and there it was. It treated us to some great aerobatics.
