Santa cruising….

We weren’t the only ones waiting for the delayed train to Waterloo East this morning. They brightened a fairly dull day and were obviously looking forward to cycling around London. A very happy group. Lots more at Waterloo.

Our We3 visit to Valerie went ahead after a bad and very worrying day yesterday when she also had to go to hospital with what was thought to be a recurrence of the kidney problem. She was allowed home but goes for blood tests on Monday. It isn’t her kidneys.

A good day with our dear sister who is SO tired and on strong pain management medication. She was so keen that we should still visit. The family too. Neil is still in hospital, very disappointed that Valerie was allowed home. His progress is slow. He no longer has Covid but needs to build up strength before going home even with a care package.

How can six hours pass so quickly? But how precious they were.
