The Mum's Rose

Their rose is still thriving. I think it looks so decadent and gloriously luscious with all those petals. There were lots of outdoor bees on the lupins.

Thanks to all good wishes regarding bees. It wasn't a swarm, however, the buzzing was reverberating behind the gas fire and they sounded mighty angry. There were two, one after the other, I feared the worse and fled the house yesterday. No sign of any more later, or today, thankfully. I do feel anxious about it though......
