Still Standing

We begin the run in to Christmas, usually a busy time for everyone, the two week period sees frantic last minute card writing, calendar design, ordering and posting off.
Everyone goes through the same process to some degree or another.
One annoying aside is the surge in spam e-mails, around two dozen a day, the number of parcels and packages I have waiting for delivery if I just provide my details and the delivery surcharge is staggering, I guess they only need a few to respond to make it worth their while.

I look at this headstone quite often, it’s on the approach to our exit from the cemetery when out walking. The rain has made the ground soft but it shows no sign of leaning further or toppling, makes you wonder how much there is below ground holding it in place.
