Tree Up

A quiet weekend at last! Got our tree yesterday and left it in a bucket of water overnight to refresh ready to dress today. Just a little tree this year as we don’t have a good space for it so it’s tucked in the corner of the kitchen.

Our Shark vacuum has been acting weird for a while and malfunctioning. It gave up the ghost when we tried to hoover up the tree needles. We called the manufacturer helpline who set up a video call and we were then slightly embarrassed to discover it was utterly clogged up in multiple places having been working away for 6 months cleaning up a dusty cobweb and dead fly infested environment and we’ve never cleaned out any of the filters or checked the hoses for blockages. It’s transformed now thankfully. The service agents must get fed up with people like us calling them!!
