The Arctic Train

A marvellous trip from Narvik on this historic train. It goes as far as the Swedish border but we just did a shorter trip, pausing for photos and fresh air a couple of times.

Lots of snow and stunning scenery. One or two couldn’t resist Snow Angels. Nobody started a snowball fight unfortunately, and I was too much of a wimp to start one.

Above freezing for much of the day but blizzards and driving rain.

Tomorrow and Tuesday - expedition days…. No idea what to expect.
