Clipping
A large tractor with its hedge clipper trundles noisily down the lane at the bottom of our garden. I was out there to check that the operator had received the message that he should leave our garden intact for another year – while we thicken the hedge of hazel and the fifty other whips that we planted about two years ago. They are flourishing and provided we keep the deer away the hedge should come along nicely.
