Meeting the Train

One of our grandchildren, George came from Glasgow to visit us today. It was his first visit for years so it was great to see him. I guess he had not been to visit in West Barns since his teenage years. In the meantime he has been to college and is now working as a support worker for  the autistic society. He has managed to get a flat on his own near Hampden Stadium but it is unfurnished and as he had little money left after paying the deposit he had to get second-hand furniture through Gum Tree. He was telling us a tale of trundling a sofa along the street for a mile or so.
