On the pull

Brewery tour with my boys today. Great experience. Lots of sampling at the end; the porter was on cask and quite exceptional. Nothing like a hand pulled real ale. They had also bought out one of the favourite breweries of my youth (Gales Ales) and still make their HSB pictured here. 

We ended up in the Ted Lasso pub in Richmond afterwards. Great roast dinner and more beer and whisky. Met a couple of young lads who had just been to the footie at Brentford and had an hour’s banter.Then stopped at an ice cream parlour on the way back to the station. It was that mild today.

Fabulous day. A real corker.
