View from the new bridge

A fairly dull cloudy but dry day.  I went to the last Pilates class this year first thing and then returned home and finished off the fruited sourdough loaves.  They were very successful so I will make another later this week.  

The tree was put up and the Christmas cards posted so we are beginning to get there.  

Late in the afternoon I went for a walk with my husband to the beach.  The sea was a mixture of red (from the red sand) and blue with the faint sunset pinks mirroring this in the sky.  An interesting light.  After a chat with some friends we hadn't spoken to for awhile we walked up the estuary across the new footbridge and onto the old path along the river.  This is a shot taken from the new footbridge looking towards the sea.  By now it was beginning to get dark as we walked along the river to White Bridge and then returned back home via the road.  We did spot a heron and little white egret as we returned.
