Higham Hall Christmas tree

Very soothing to be at Higham Hall for a Carol singing course with early music specialist Deborah Catterall. Lovely to see familiar faces, especially G who tutors the equally good yoga courses here.

Terrible weather so for once I just drove straight here from Glasgow after spending the morning dealing with the insurance claim linked to yesterday’s event. Surprisingly easy with a transfer of funds into my account due tomorrow morning. It seems that all of my neighbours witnessed the arrival of the two fire engines, so some time was also spent responding to solicitous messages.
