A Sunday kind of day

For the first time in along time I woke up and felt awake, rather than wanting to go back to sleep,so that was a lovely start to to day! 

The vote from the boys was for a quiet day, the husband had a DIY project to finish (almost done, looks great), I had cooking to do and had a lovely dog walk. 

I took the boys to the park this afternoon. Their plan was to spin so fast they would make themselves sick and not have to go to school tomorrow. Sadly for them, the plan didn't work, and I told them they'd be going even if they did make themselves sick! We had a lovely time and the eldest beat me at the huge connect 4 game in the park, with row of 5 that we didn't notice!
