The Joy Of Living In Central Texas.....
,,,,and learning from Revelation about the joy of being a participant in the wedding feast of the Lamb! The joy of living in Central Texas started with 37 degree temperatures this morning as we were going to church and peaked at 71 degree temperatures this afternoon. You could go through your entire wardrobe in one day like this one! Talk about finding joy in Revelation---we did, and I will tell you more about that in just a minute. We began our service by being blessed by a song from the recent Christmas musical performance by the choir, orchestra and all our talented accompanists , the uplifting anthem, "Worship His Glory! Worship The King!", followed by the welcome from Daniel McGinty. We then joined our hearts and voices in some congregational Christmas hymns to prepare us for the passage in Revelation. Pastor Wes called Revelation 19:1-10, a hallelujah passage and it was filled with rejoicing and hope and, most importantly, worship of God Who reigns forever and provided the way for us to be with Him. Pastor Wes had much more to say about all those things in the Live-stream, which would be well worth your time to watch. Next week is Christmas Eve and we will have our morning service at 11:00 and then that evening, we will have a candlelight service at 6:00. Come and join us as we worship and celebrate!
