As I was walking Kasper around Monaco Peninsula it was just about high tide and can be seen the sea has already moved shingle onto the road the black strip being the edge of the road.
This tide was a 3.7 metre  and high tides range up to 4.3 metres hence why it covers the road.

A showery start but brightening as the day went on.
