Rain, Finally

We hibernated. I worked on matting some photos. It’s been so long since I cut anything that I forgot how to do it, but soon I found a rhythm and was able to move along. It’s harder on my hands than I remember—what a surprise! I decided to reprint a couple of the older photos that were turning green, and came face to face with my filing system. The year 2003 seems to have vanished. I think it marks the transition from film to digital. I just have to remember how I would have organized things twenty years ago before I knew about keywords. I did finally find one of the images I was looking for, and printed it on my trusty Epson 2200. It came out perfectly the first time!! I was pretty excited. The 2200 is one of the reasons that I’m still hanging on to my ancient iMac. It’s a good system and I really do not want to learn a new one.
