Newtown Station

A quiet day punctuated by an early walk to the Asian grocers’ at Mascot and a mid-afternoon stroll around Newtown. None of the veges I wanted were to be found this morning but my translation app worked. I guessed Mandarin (traditional) for a sign in Chinese below something interesting - it was fresh lotus root. 

It was a day to keep to the shade.
