Stumped

An overcast day today, but mostly dry. Nothing very exciting happening - present wrapping, fiddling about with some poems, a bit of copying out of old travel notebooks.

After lunch I went for a leg-stretcher, popped up to McCaig's Tower to see what further vandalism had been carried out - I couldn't resist it!  No comment at present, but my Blip today is the view up the steps - this represents about 10% of the chopping outside the Tower.

Carried on round the roads, stopping for a chat with a neighbour in his garden. McCaig's Tower was mentioned - not enough cutting. Then popped into a nearer neighbour for a cuppa and a chat. McCaig's Tower was mentioned again. 

Some clear patches in the sky - a lovely crescent moon was playing hide-and-seek among the birch branches.
