Am quite fond of brutalist architecture in small doses but agree with the naughty peep responsible for adorning these concrete blocks that sometimes a little paint can work wonders.

These sit between Manchester's Sackville Street, Upper Brook Street & the (I kid you not!) 'Concrete Society Award Winning' Mancunian Way flyover. The last time I cycled past they had sadly faded from view.

The A635 Mancunian Way is a thankfully aborted attempt at an urban motorway just south of the city centre.
