Regent Street…

Having only just received gift ideas from some of the family, our older grandchildren, it made sense to us to do some real shopping today rather than the online variety. After D’s tennis and a load more admin for me, we caught the train to Charing Cross. Covent Garden next then Oxford Street. Loads of people had the same idea but with our shopping easily done, we took our time walking back to the station and stopped to enjoy the street lights.

Cards and letters written to my dad’s family/ our cousins, some we’ve never met. One day we will take the trip to Hartlepool. We were all set then Covid hit and somehow the years since then have disappeared.
