Happy Days

Had our monthly Territorial Army Coffee and Blether gathering this morning and, as always, it was a couple of hours of shared memories and lots of laughter.
We always have photos to look through, both actual prints and on our phones or laptops and we seem to spend an awful lot of time pointing to people saying ‘Oh what’s his/her name again?’
This photo popped up on my Facebook memories today - the boys vs girls football match at Barry Buddon training camp. There was a lot of foul play, at one point there were 3 balls in play and in the end the girls won by 3 goals to none. Well, that’s how I remember it anyway…
I’m sure we had a few celebratory drinks in the bar that evening and then we were up bright and early next morning for PT before breakfast and a full day’s work in our role as radio ops establishing communications with the rest of our Regiment :-)
