Keeping the peace

Nice get together with old friends and interesting conversation: she is Ukrainian and he is Russian; they split their time between the US and Russia. It is ‘interesting’ (in a mind boggling way) how our perspectives on the same events are diametrically opposed: it’s like living in parallel universes… Brainwashing is alive and well (on both sides, I guess…). I had to change the topic a few times for the sake of keeping our friendship intact…
