Lordy the new Lowry

After a lovely full English breakfast me and the Boy went to Salford Keys for a spot of shopping and a look round the Lowry. We were unimpressed with the shopping but the Lowry was excellent. An exhibition on Harry Goodwin (Top of the Pops photographer) before viewing LS Lowrys fine display of paintings. I love the section of an art gallery where the kids draw their favourite artwork and leave it on display. This was going to be today's blip until me and the boy decided to do our own. So here is the Boys take on Lowry's 'Man lying on a wall'. I was, to my surprise, very impressed, the boys got talent! It may look like a stickman but so does Lowry's. I should probably take the boy to the Rembrant museum and see if he does so well there!

The boy then dragged me round the National Football Museum, then drinks, then a meal on Tesco at Prezzo, then a late drive home, tired but happy. Gotta love a last minute city mini break. Must do it more often.
