OH to be YOUNG AGAIN ! !

To be young again when technology hadn't been thought of, when a small Christmas gift was appreciated more than a big one, when a homade toy/ embroidered cloth , or tray cloth, even a raffier table mat was such a treasured gift. This throw away society as we're all in now is just wastful. Such a shame the time has gone when we saved everything for reuse ,if possible, yes we didn't realise how important recycling was although that's what we were doing .
The blip today is a typical picture of my childhood, I can remember looking over a fence like thîs at horses in the field. ( of course I was a lucky one) But not all were so lucky. It seems everyone wants/ needs something costing " an arm & a leg*
