Adobe or not Adobe

Due to being extremely lazy with photography and using the iPhone almost exclusively, I never use Lightroom, and rarely use Photoshop, so I decided it’s time to ditch the monthly Adobe subscription. Beforehand I thought I’d try Photoshop Elements, which is a one-off purchase - so here I am on a date with Patrick Dempsey, all purely in the interests of research you understand. Don't look too closely at my neck, which is sadly not at all like Mrs Dempsey’s so the merging hasn’t gone too well…..

In the process I’ve had to update my Mac operating system; I was clinging on desperately to Catalina after it took an eternity and a boatload of stress to update to that many years ago. Updating to Monterey was by contrast an absolute breeze - I’m still two OSs behind even now but that’s for another day.
