Black-throated Diver #80

Completing the trio of native divers, today's blip is a juvenile black-throated diver that has been showing well for photographers and birders alike for the past few days. It's only 25 minutes away and until today, I'd never seen one, so another lifer for my list :)

We didn't stay long as we had shopping to do as the fridge was empty after our weekend away. Just long enough for it to come close enough for a shot or two.  Here it is having a shake and a stretch. 

I'll attempt to catch up with journals again before the usual Christmas period disappearing act where, like many people, I rarely have time to blip, let alone look at journals.
