Bertie Bassett

We went to steward’s funeral today. He was a very long time friend of the family and my brother lodged with him since our parents died.
Over the years he did a lot for charity among other things he crocheted lots of things including vegetable soft toys and a couple of Bertie’s then sold them to make charity money. This is one that didn’t  get  sold. His cousin who it sorting his affairs out gave it to K to raffle of for a bit more money.
All in all a good send off
