Forest of Birse

I’d a walk with pals today up a wee hill called Carnferg above the Forest of Birse. It was a cold but clear day with decent views and good chat. We passed several very impressive shooting butts and a well maintained shooting lodge (extra). Probably not a healthy place for grouse in August.
